Radisson collection lyon - cours des loges

After exploring France’s wine regions for Di-vine Destinations, this project brought a new chapter. One centered on heritage, family, and timeless elegance.

In the heart of the old Lyon, the Radisson Collection – Cour des Loges stands as a masterpiece of history and hospitality. Once a Renaissance-era residence, it is now one of Lyon’s most iconic 5* hotels. A hidden world of arches, courtyards, frescoes, and warm light that feels suspended in time. More than a place to stay, Cour des Loges is an experience in itself: where past and present blend seamlessly, and every detail tells a story.

For this project, we followed a family of four exploring Lyon through both its traditions and its charm. From the funicular ride climbing up to Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière to the panoramic view over the city, every step carried a sense of wonder. The children’s laughter, the parents’ smiles, everything reflected the simple beauty of discovering together.

I captured them painting on silk, one of Lyon’s most emblematic crafts, and visiting the Petit Musée de Guignol, where the city’s playful spirit came to life through its famous puppets. In the old streets, they tasted the local praline rose, that sweet symbol of Lyon’s indulgence, before returning to the quiet comfort of Cour des Loges.

The evening unfolded in pure refinement at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, led by Chef Anthony Bonnet. The atmosphere was intimate yet grand — flavors inspired by the region, beautifully plated, and served beneath centuries-old stone arches. It wasn’t just dinner; it was a sensory journey through Lyon’s soul.

The film captured the essence of connection. Between family members, between tradition and modernity, between a city and its stories. The tone was cinematic and sincere: warm light, authentic laughter, delicate textures of fabric, stone, and taste.

Ultimately, this project embodied what Radisson Collection represents: the celebration of places with character, stories with depth, and experiences that transcend time.

At Cour des Loges, Lyon is not just visited. it’s felt, shared, and remembered.
