RADISSON BLU BORDEAUX

For this project, I collaborated with Radisson Blu Bordeaux for their “Di-vine Destinations” campaign. A storytelling project celebrating slow travel, fine wine, and authentic connections in one of France’s most iconic regions.

The creative brief was clear yet inspiring: capture the emotion of a journey à deux, where every shared glance, every glass of wine, and every sunrise tells part of a story. The video needed to feel intimate, elegant, and sensory. 70% lifestyle and 30% product, showing how the hotel is not just a place to stay, but a gateway to the art de vivre bordelais.

Radisson wanted the content to reflect the essence of Bordeaux: romantic, refined, and grounded in local authenticity. Visually, the direction focused on natural light, warm textures, and genuine connection, avoiding anything staged or overly polished. The couple was at the heart of the story: discovering, laughing, tasting, and simply being present together. Every scene had to feel spontaneous yet cinematic, with subtle poetry in the details.

The itinerary was designed around this sensory narrative. The story began at the Radisson Blu Hotel, a contemporary haven overlooking the Garonne, both the starting point and the home base of the trip. Mornings unfolded in soft light, breakfasts lingered, and evenings ended with a final toast on the rooftop, the city glowing in the background.

Their first stop was the Cité du Vin, where the couple explored the immersive exhibits and shared a glass at the Belvedere, taking in Bordeaux from above. A symbolic beginning to their wine journey.

The next day took us on the legendary French Wine Road, aboard a vintage Citroën 2CV. The brief encouraged the idea of freedom and playfulness, so we captured them tracing routes on a map, laughing with the wind in their hair, and enjoying the simple joy of discovery.

Our first destination was Château Lamothe-Bergeron, where tradition meets innovation. The couple toured the cellars, learned about the winemaking process, and shared a picnic in the château’s garden, surrounded by vines and the calm rhythm of the countryside.

Later, at Château Desmirail, a Grand Cru Classé in the Margaux appellation, the tone turned more elegant. Fine architecture, warm tones, reflections in the wine glasses, and that feeling of timeless French refinement.

Returning to the hotel, the film closed in a poetic loop: soft music, evening light, and the same sense of calm they felt at the beginning, now richer, deeper, and full of meaning.

Ultimately, the project embodied what Radisson Blu stands for: “Every Moment Matters.”
It’s not just about where you go, but how you feel along the way. The quiet, shared moments that transform travel into memory.

Di-vine Destinations – On the French Wine Road became more than a promotional film; it was a cinematic journey through Bordeaux’s elegance, terroir, and human warmth.

This video was later selected internally as one of the best Radisson Blu videos worldwide in September 2025, among all Radisson hotels around the globe — a recognition that made the project even more meaningful to me.
